- הִילְמִי(corr. הַלְמִי) f. (ἅλμη) brine for pickling. Sabb.XIV, 2. Ib. 108b. Y. ib. XIV, 14c top הי׳ צריכה אומן the preparation of halmé requires a trained person. Erub.14b בהלמי Ar.
